What kind of Images can I use for work that will be seen in public?
Pictures I have taken on my own, Pictures from my school website, Pictures labelled Royalty Free, or Pictures the owner has given me permission to use.
What kind of Images can I use if I am only going to use my work at school or at home?
Because of copyrights "fair-use" clause, I can use images I find on the internet for class or at home, but it is always a good idea to mention how worked hard to create it in the first place.
Copying people's work without permisson is NEVER a good idea.
Here are a few websites that offer "royalty free images", meaning that you can copy and change them because you have permission from their owners.
